Cell Culture Treated Dishes, Ultra-Web™ Synthetic Surfaces
|
These dishes are manufactured from optically clear virgin polystyrene and are sterilized by gamma radiation. They have stacking beads to aid in handling and are supplied with vents to provide consistent gas exchange. The Ultra-Web synthetic surfaces are composed of randomly orientated electrospun polyamide nanofibers with an average fiber diameter of 280 nm. This creates a culturing substrate that mimics structural components within the basement membrane or extracellular matrix. The two surface chemistries available are: untreated electrospun polyamide nanofibers with an uncharged slightly hydrophilic surface and polyamine treated electrospun polyamide nanofibers with a positively charged surface for enhanced cell attachment or binding and covalently linking biomolecules.
